I beat PF and did Red light after every stretch and strength

I beat PF and did Red light after every stretch and strengthening gym session...Not 100% sold on the red light but I do think the vibrating floor helps increase blood circulation, relaxes tight calf muscles, and stimulates foot nerves. Hoping someone can advise. 8 weeks ago I couldn’t weight bear on my heel after a run. Have been to GP in house physio. Given stretches & sent for xray & ultrasound. Just found out I have heel spur & small tear at insertion 2.5mm & thickened plantar. I work in retail so on my feet for 8 hour shifts, 4 days a week. Im limping & in awful pain when I finish my shift. I’m wearing Skechers arch support trainers. Physio said I don’t need arch support, I need a wedge in my shoe. I tried this & it hurts. Have been referred to another physio as this one just does initial assessment. I asked if he could put me in a boot for a week or 2 so my tear has a chance to heal with no weight bearing. He says the tear will heal on its own if I do the stretches, ice, heat, etc. he just kept saying he would refer me & offered me prescription painkillers. I was worried if I took something stronger I might hurt it more if I can’t feel any pain. I have work tomorrow & I’m dreading it. I was hoping he would agree to resting my foot so it can heal (I get 3 days off in a row & it seems better after the rest). I’ve read so much on here & am confused on what my foot needs to heal. I don’t know if I can face 4 days in a row at work. Does anyone know how long I’m likely to be waiting for this referral or is it worth going private to speed things up? Uk based. They both say that I have plantar fasciitis. I’ve had Cortizone injections on both of my feet. I went to physical therapy for two weeks. I wore night splint for two months and I’ve done the frozen water bottle trick along with the lacrosse ball, etc. and for some reason, nothing is working so I just went to an orthopedic and he gave me a couple shots. Three weeks later my pain is back. I am not understanding what’s happening, but I do not think I have plantar fasciitis and I did an MRI and I don’t think that says it was plantar fasciitis. I think it says it’s a bone spur however, my orthopedic doctor refuses to accept bone spur. Is there anything I can do to fix this? This has been going on since last October. Hope you find it useful (made for another group but thought I'd share here as the members seemed to find it useful). Andrew. Please see comments for videos (recommended order: plantar fasciitis group video 1st, and then e3 rehab second). Shared post Nadejda Parusheva Does anyone practice myofascial release on the feet and calves, which Dr. Angela recommends? I'm trying it, but it's uncomfortable and I don't know if I'm feeling any effect and I'm hesitating whether to do massages with a massage gun instead. Shared post ClassySunflower8276 Been suffering for almost 6 years in both feet. Tried orthotics, medications, done all the exercises diligently but no relief. I’ve been told I have adhesions and they needed to be ā€˜massaged’ out before I should get new orthotics. It was so sore I feel like my feet are bruised along with the pf pain. I can’t go through it again. As a teacher I’m on my feet most of the day. Apart from using a spoon to massage, what relief can I get from this pain? Shared post Pink_raspberry2020 So, It’s been two months now that I have heel pain. When it started I went straight to physical therapy. But quit after a month as itvwas making it way worse and also spread to my ankle and calf. Now I want to see a doctor and see what they say. Question is who do I see? A podiatrist, orthopedics, foot and ankle specialist? Shared post
