What has people's experience been with PRP? I've had two shockwave treatments (the high intensity kind), several rounds of PT, tried all the braces, stretching, scraping, massaging, etc. and cant get rid of PF in my left foot. My doctor has recommended PRP, but I'm hesitant to throw more money down the drain... Thoughts? Shelley Schoggen Happy weekend to everyone.Has anyone noticed how moody this condition can be. Like the other day it hurt really bad.And then the next day, it barely hurt at all, and now it's back to hurting?? Autumn Betts What do you all recommend to have for surgery ? Jody Brill Has anyone gone to a chiropractor to treat their PF? I was talking to someone yesterday who said he saw a chiropractor for 4-5 sessions and he has been pain free since (which has been years). I plan to look into it but wonder if others have had success going with this route. Karen Anderson Has anyone tried tuning forks and frequency healing to help with the pain? Yes, I’m at that point. After very expensive orthotics that only worked for a month, wearing a sleeve every day, and the podiatrist trying to sell me a $600 boot, I’ll try anything. What are the alternative therapies? Heather Scott At what point do people decide to go with surgery? I’m going on 17 months with PF. Two podiatrists, every splint/brace/boot/insole/tape, lasers, stretching, shots, you name it. I had a heel bone contusion which has since healed, and I have bone spurs. I used to run marathons and now I feel like I will never be able to walk without pain again, let alone run. This has been devastating to my physical activity. Please tell me there’s a wa Annette Pineiro Has anyone tried the Koprez sleeve? So tempted to try but would live some feedback. Vito Rullo Hello everyone I joined this chat because I honestly have no idea where to go anymore. I’ve been to 2 different podiatrist. They both say that I have plantar fasciitis. I’ve had Cortizone injections on both of my feet. I went to physical therapy for two weeks. I wore night splint for two months and I’ve done the frozen water bottle trick along with the lacrosse ball, etc. and for some reason, nothing is working so I just went to an o BraveWallaby321 Hi everyone. I’ve had plantar fasciitis since last December. Earlier this year I underwent shockwave therapy, but unfortunately it made my symptoms much worse. I now have heel pain throughout the day rather than just first thing in the morning. I’ve also had custom orthotics made, as I have lower arches and overpronation, which is contributing to the strain on my plantar fascia. My next treatment options are either a steroid injecti ClassySunflower8276 Been suffering for almost 6 years in both feet. Tried orthotics, medications, done all the exercises diligently but no relief. I’ve been told I have adhesions and they needed to be ‘massaged’ out before I should get new orthotics. It was so sore I feel like my feet are bruised along with the pf pain. I can’t go through it again. As a teacher I’m on my feet most of the day. Apart from using a spoon to massage, what relief can I get fro— feeling hopeful. Julia Elizabeth I just purchased “On: Cloudrunner 3” sneakers, and orthotics, at a specialty running store. Anyone have luck with this brand? I found them to be the most comfortable in the store yesterday. I am also wearing oofos slippers inside and outside too.
