Hi! I’m new here and hoping to learn more about what helped people. I have an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation etc and is a huge factor of my PF flare ups. This disease tends to attack and focus on my “weak spots” and obviously for me this is one of my MAJOR issues. It comes out of nowhere, when my autoimmune is flaring usually my feet are the first to face the brunt of it. That being said, I’m focused on inflammation reduction. I am on an anti inflammatory diet, I’m active and I work out 3-5 times a week. HOWEVER this has been kicking my butt and I’m in constant pain. It makes it extremely difficult to walk etc. the podiatrist is not very helpful but I do start PT next week. In the mean time, is there something on Amazon I can buy? A brace of some sort? I wear Hokusai usually but that’s not enough at this point. See less All reactions:

StunningDachshund3361 Hi, I recently asked about night splints in a post. Go to the top right search icon and type in night splint and see if my post pops up . Some good information. People say they’re helpful. I’ve been dealing w this for almost a year now and that’s one thing I Haven’t tried . Also I recommend just scrolling through posts and you’ll come across good information and things to try. Unfortunately there isn’t a one size fits all cure for PF. We’ve all tried many different things. This group will be helpful. Hope you feel better soon

Rachel Ellen Admin All-star contributor Autoimmune conditions can be so frustrating and unpredictable. Has anyone checked your feet for adhesions and scar tissue? They keep the areas of the feet weak and muscles, connective tissue, and nerves don’t move as they should because they’re bound up. Google these in your area: structural integrated massage, Airrosti, active release technique, and Rolfing. Active release technique would probably be the easiest to locate. Therapist may also use graston/IASTM to assist.
