Nerve healing? I am 8 weeks post op, pretty straightforward
Nerve healing? I am 8 weeks post op, pretty straightforward bunioectomy. I had a cast for two week non weight bearing, CAM boot for 4 weeks weight-bearing, then was supposed to be in a surgical shoe for two weeks. However, the surgical shoe was causing the ankle that I had operated on in mid-August too much pain, so with the surgeon's approval, I moved into Hokas last week. Once the cast came off, I felt like the nerve zingers really started, but thankfully those zaps are short lived. Right now I still have nerve pain, bruising and swelling.
